Arlanda Airport (Sweden)
At Arlanda Airport in Sweden, a parking ramp for aircraft covering around 100,000 square metres has been built to the south of Terminal 2.
The project, known as Ramp E, aims to create more space for aircraft that do not need to stand at a gate. The parking ramp will offer a high level of service with underground supplies of air, electricity, and fuel for aircraft easily accessible directly from the ramp.
The contractor is NCC and the area entered into operation in late 2017.
HeidelbergCement’s subsidiary Betongindustri delivered 15,500 cubic metres of ready-mixed concrete for the project.
